Your Pixel Watch and Galaxy Watch deserve a real AI strength coach.
Built for Pixel Watch and Galaxy Watch users tired of downgraded experiences. On-watch set logger, live HR via Health Services, Health Connect sync—feature parity with the Apple Watch version, not an afterthought port.
Most gym apps treat Android wearables as an afterthought.
You open your Pixel Watch between sets and get... nothing useful. No set logger. No rest timer. No RIR input. The iOS app ships rich, the Wear OS build ships cripples—or never ships at all.
No on-watch set logger
Hevy, Strong, and most "top" iOS apps don't have a Wear OS build. You're stuck pulling out your phone for every set.
Wear OS support is read-only
Even when an app "supports" Wear OS, it's often just a glance screen. No logging. No interaction. No coaching.
Health Connect is ignored
Your Android ecosystem has Health Connect as the hub. Gym apps write nothing there. Your lifting data lives in isolation.
Galaxy Watch users get nothing
Samsung sells millions of Galaxy Watches. The gym-app market treats them like they don't exist. You're paying premium hardware to use a phone app.
Everything you need, on your wrist.
Jetpack Compose UI, Health Services API, Wearable Data Layer. Every core workout action available from the watch, zero compromise.
On-watch set logger
Log reps, weight, RIR, and RPE directly from the watch. MessageClient syncs to the phone session instantly. Ten exercise types, multiple input styles, rotating bezel support on Galaxy Watch.
Live HR and session timer
Health Services ExerciseClient streams continuous heart rate during your workout. See current HR, average, and zones. Session timer runs on-watch even if the phone dies mid-session.
Rest period auto-timer
Finish a set, the watch buzzes when your rest window ends. Extend or skip with a tap. Same timerAdjust protocol as the Apple Watch build, so behavior is identical across wearables.
Quick RPE/RIR input
One-tap RPE/RIR input after each set. AI coach uses the readings set-by-set to adjust weight suggestions. No more "I'll log it later" that never happens.
Health Connect sync
Completed workouts land in Health Connect as ExerciseSession records with duration, calories, and HR zones. Samsung Health, Google Fit, and the rest of your Android fitness stack read them automatically.
Exercise demos on wrist
Forgot what a Pendlay row looks like? Tap the exercise on the watch, see a short demo loop and key cues. No phone pickup mid-rack.
Full iOS + Wear OS parity. Every feature, both wrists.
Arvo is among the few AI strength coaches with complete parity across Apple Watch and Wear OS. Same protocol, same UX, same features.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a gym app for Pixel Watch?
Yes. Arvo ships a native Wear OS companion that runs on Pixel Watch, Galaxy Watch 4/5/6/Ultra, and any Wear OS 4+ device. Log sets, read RPE/RIR, track heart rate, and get rest timers from your wrist. Built in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose with feature parity to the Apple Watch version.
Does Arvo work on Galaxy Watch 6?
Yes. Galaxy Watch 6 runs Wear OS 4, which is fully supported. Install Arvo on your Android phone, pair your watch, and the workout auto-syncs. You can log sets, adjust rest timers, and stream heart rate via Health Services API without opening the phone.
What Wear OS versions are supported?
Arvo for Wear OS targets Wear OS 4 and above on Android 10+. That includes Pixel Watch 1/2/3, Galaxy Watch 4/5/6/Ultra, OnePlus Watch 2, and TicWatch models running Wear OS 4. Older Wear OS 2/3 watches are not supported because Health Services API behaves differently there.
Can I track workouts without my phone?
The watch needs to pair with the phone to pull your program and sync sets, but during a session the phone can stay in the locker. Set logs, HR, and timers run on-watch via MessageClient and queue offline. When the phone comes back in range, DataClient flushes everything.
Does Arvo sync with Health Connect?
Yes. Completed workouts are written to Health Connect as ExerciseSession records with duration, calories, and heart rate. This means Samsung Health, Google Fit, and any Health Connect-aware app can read your Arvo training history on Android.
Can my Wear OS app give rest timers?
Yes. After you log a set on the watch or the phone, Arvo starts the rest timer on your wrist automatically. You get a haptic cue when the rest window ends and a quick-action to extend it. Timers are driven by the same timerAdjust protocol used on Apple Watch.
How is Arvo different on Wear OS vs iPhone?
The methodology is identical. Same AI coach, same Kuba/Mentzer/531 support, same set-by-set progression. The Wear OS app mirrors the Apple Watch app one-to-one: on-watch set logger, live HR, rest timer, RPE/RIR input, and exercise demos. No downgraded Android experience.
Does Arvo Wear OS track heart rate?
Yes. Arvo uses Health Services ExerciseClient to subscribe to continuous heart rate during a workout. Readings are shown live on the watch and synced to the phone session so you can see average HR per set and total workout HR zones after the session.
